Bertha Martin is one of our current graduate students the recently participated in the National Scientific Mentoring and Diversity Program (SMDP) Biotech. SMDP is a one year career mentoring program that pairs ethnically diverse students and early career research with industry mentors.  These mentors work at companies in medical technology, biotechnology and consumer healthcare industries.
