Robert Temple, RN was awarded for Excellence in Interprofessional Education and Practice. This award is given to non-physician health care team members for their outstanding performance in interprofessional education and practice that helps create the next generation of outstanding physicians. Residents supported this nomination with comments:

  • “Bob is the heart and soul of the acute pain team.”
  • “I recently witnessed Bob explaining the most basic things of our acute pain service to a new junior resident, with patience and respect, and realized Bob has been fulfilling this role with every single anesthesia resident, year in year out.”
  • “Bob is instrumental in teaching residents the nitty-gritty flow of an acute pain team that we can’t find in books. He teaches residents how to prioritize blocks, streamline flow, and follow up on blocks.”
  • “I can state without hesitation that Bob Temple is quite simply the nurse that has done the most to support my resident education.”
