Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture - Susan Amara, PhD

Dr. Susan Amara, PhD, will visit campus on March 7, 2019 to present a lecture on "Dynamic regulation of signaling pathways in dopamine neurons: the intracellular actions of amphetamines" at 4:00pm in the Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110A MERF). Dr. Amara is a Principal Investigator in the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology and Scientific Director of the Intramural Research Program of the National Institutes of Mental Health at the National Institutes of Health. 

This lecture is co-sponsored by the Iowa Neuroscience Institute.
 

The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas. Most lectures, with few exceptions, will be held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year.
