Dr. Vamsi Mootha will present a lecture "Hypoxia as a Therapy for Mitochondrial Disease" on October 15 at 4:00pm via Zoom. Dr. Mootha is a Professor of Systems Biology at the Harvard Medical School, Professor of Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas. Most lectures, with few exceptions, will be held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year.
