3/28/2018 12:00pm Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture—Duojia Pan

Duojia Pan, PhD, Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Fouad A. and Val Imm Bashour Distinguished Chair in Physiology, and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Physiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, will give a presentation on "Hippo signaling in growth control and beyond" on March 28, 12–1 p.m. in the Urmila Sahai Seminar Room (2117 MERF).

Dr. Pan studies the molecular and developmental pathways that control how organ size is determined in different organisms and the way these mechanisms regulate tissue homeostasis in normal and pathological conditions.  Further information on Dr. Pan’s research can be found on his HHMI profile.

This event is co-sponsored by the Ramon and Victoria Lim Medical Science Lecture in Internal Medicine.

The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas.
