Current Research Award Recipients

The FOE DRC Pilot & Feasibility Project Program awards $50,000 catalyst grants to young investigators who propose to establish a research career in diabetes/obesity, to senior investigators in another field who want to explore a project related to diabetes/obesity, or to an established diabetes/obesity investigator who proposes to pursue an entirely new approach. The FOE DRC Pilot & Feasibility Project Program also awards $5,000 seed grants to innovative, high reward objectives than have potential to open to new directions in diabetes/obesity research. Recipients of these grants are chosen annually based on a competitive evaluation of proposals submitted by the applicants.
