Congratulations to Sarah Eichenberg, PA-C for earning the Trauma Sheers of Excellence.  She was awarded the sheers by EM Physician Resident Jeff Brown, MD who said "She showed excellence multiple times during a shift we had together on Feb 23rd. The first tip off was when she took the initiative upon herself to ask Kim Hagarty if she could go in on a trauma activation to help and learn. Per Dr Hagarty, and I quote, "Sarah kicked butt in there". The excellence continued when she asked to help with an intubation and lumbar puncture on a different residents altered patient. With her help, the procedures went more efficiently and served as a learning opportunity for both residents. Her attitude of team work and consistent initiative to seek out additional learning and experience are more than worthy of the Shears of Excellence."
