A part of the College of Public Health's Annual Public Health Research Week. Sponsored by the Iowa Institute for Public Health Research and Policy (IIPHRP).

The IIPHRP Global Public Health Case Competition offers an innovative student learning experience that trains future public health leaders. This competition brings together students from multiple disciplines from across the University of Iowa in a format that simulates practical, real-world health issues and interventions. Through the IIPHRP Global Public Health Case Competition, students creatively address critical global health challenges in a competitive and collaborative environment that simulates future workplace settings by requiring a multidisciplinary team composition.

Audience members are invited to watch each team present their intervention to this year's interdisciplinary global health issue in front of a panel of expert judges. Case competition awards will be announced on Wednesday, October 23rd at 1:15pm in N110 CPHB.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Sophie Switzer in advance at (319)384-4136 or sophie-switzer@uiowa.edu
