Please join the Environmental Health & Safety Office at a seminar focusing on safety in the lab. Seminars will be presented by Wendie Dockstader (EHS Biological Safety Specialist) at the begining of each academic term - Fall, Spring and Summer.
Learn about:
- Chemical Safety: SDS, pictograms, storage, labeling inventory, spills, toxic chemicals, gases & cryogenics
- Biological Safety: biosafety levels, handling liquid biological agents, bloodborne pathogens, biohazardous waste, biological spills
- Fire Safety
- Accident Reporting
