Glaucoma specialist Dr. Nathan Sears was selected to receive the American Glaucoma Society’s 2018 Young Clinician Scientist Research Grant.

Sears will use the grant funds to develop a new animal model of glaucoma to facilitate studies of the causes and cures for this potentially blinding disease. The award of $40,000 is for a one-year period.
