The IIHG and the Genetics Cluster Initiative present "Introduction to Galaxy for Bioinformatics" for this month's Hands On Bioinformatics mini-course. Michael Chimenti, Ph.D., Specialist in the IIHG Bioinformatics Division will be the workshop presenter. 

This mini-course will introduce students to Galaxy the web-based graphical interface for bioinformatics. Students will learn about public, local, and cloud-based Galaxies. We will cover the basics of using Galaxy in the browser, the kinds of tools available, how to share datasets, and the fundamentals of building workflows for reproducible research.
