September 15, 2020 - In less than two years, Dr. Ryan Boudreau has received a third NIH grant bringing the total awarded to just over $4.9M. These funds allow Dr. Boudreau to further investigate mitroregulin, a protein he and his research team discovered, and its role in the genetic and molecular underpinnings of heart failure.
July 31, 2020 - On two consecutive days, Dr. Aaron Scherer received a K01 from the National Institute on Aging and a U01 to partner with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Both grants will enable him to better understand what motivates individuals to choose to take vaccines. In the setting of our current pandemic, his discoveries may prove critical in the coming months.
