Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic Rhinitis is a common nasal complaint in the primary care setting and is caused by a type 1, IGE-mediated hypersensitivity reaction in the nasal mucosa. 

May be perennial or seasonal depending on the trigger
Often there is a family history of atopy including eczema, asthma and/or allergies
