  • Audio-video unit (for telescope)
  • Telescope camera
  • Fiberoptic luminator (scope compatible light source)
  • Double shelf table (place light sources under setup)
  • Gown table
  • Mayo stand
  • Fiberoptic light projector with headlight x 2
  • Plexiglass suspension frame
  • Unipolar cautery unit
  • Suction bottle stand x 2
  • IV stand x 2
  • Elbow guards x 2
  • Pillows x 2
  • Foam padding
  • Reliance hydraulic stool with back
  • Clark socket for suspension

SUPPLIES FOR STERILE FIELD

  • Panendoscopy Pack
  • Telfa for specimens
  • Gump to protect teeth
  • K-Y jelly
  • Fog-out for telescope or hot water
  • Neurosurgical cottonoids 1/2 x 1/2, 1/2 x 3 (have available if biopsies or manipulation of vocal cords occur)
  • 5ml syringe
  • 14G abbocath/25G hypodermic needle
  • Irrigation basin
  • Towels and pillowcases

DRUGS TO HAVE ON THE FIELD

  • 4% Lidocaine
  • nasal spray
  • saline

Special Setup Note

In the majority of these cases, the surgical bed is turned 90° away from anesthesia.
