This group intends to foster discussion about being an Asian medical student. We plan to have inclusive cultural events to increase awareness and to provide opportunities for students to stay connected with their cultural roots. We plan to have Bollywood movie screenings, dance workshops, and opportunities to showcase unique talents including classical Indian music and dance. Though the currently planned events are more focused on southeast Asian culture-we are absolutely open to expansion and suggestions from the student body. 

First Meeting: 

We plan to have our first meeting in January 11 at 6 pm in room 2189 MERF. We will have a brief discussion on what we would like to do for the year and will have a movie screening of 3 Idiots - a critically acclaimed bollywood movie everyone needs to see!
