Gail Bishop, PhD, professor of microbiology and immunology in the UI Carver College of Medicine, has been selected as a member of the Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation Research Committee of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Members are chosen based on their professional accomplishments and achievements in their scientific discipline.  Her six-year term in the position ends June 30, 2027.
