The Microbiology Seminar Series provides a weekly forum to host visiting speakers from universities, industry, and research institutes from around the world. Students frequently interact with these visitors. Students also attend and participate in Microbiology Graduate Student Research Seminars each semester. In addition, many graduate students and postdoctoral fellows participate in journal clubs formed by interacting laboratories in areas of shared interest.
