Required MSTP Clinical Clerkships

The Carver College of Medicine clinical year requirements for an MSTP student are dependent upon the year they return to the clinical curriculum after they have defended their PhD.

MSTP Students' return-to-clinic dates vary, so depending on thesis defense dates, there is some flexibility to schedule additional advanced electives as desired or as needed for residency preparation.

Students can earn 4 weeks of credit during the graduate phase through MSTP Clinical Connections.

Below are the core clerkships all MSTP students must complete; they must also complete five selectives.
