Clinical Clerkships

Required Clinical Clerkships

In the new (2014) CCOM curriculum, MSTP students are required to complete a minimum of 69 weeks of clinical clerkships. Students typically complete 13 weeks prior to beginning the graduate phase and earn 4 weeks of credit during the graduate phase through MSTP Clinical Connections, leaving 52 weeks of clerkships to complete after the graduate phase. There is flexibility to schedule additional advanced electives as desired or as needed for residency preparation.

The required Core, Selective, and Advanced Clerkships are outlined below. Additional descriptions can be found on the CCOM Third Year and Fourth Year Curriculum pages.
