Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture - Dr. Jeffrey Friedman

Dr. Jeffrey Friedman, MD, PhD will visit campus on November 14, 2019 to present a lecture on "Leptin and the Homeostatic Control of Food Intake and Body Weight" at 3:00pm in the Urmila Sahai Seminar Room (2117 MERF). Dr. Friedman is the Marilyn M. Simpson Professor in the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at The Rockefeller University and an Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute.     

This lecture is co-sponsored by the Department of Neuroscience & Pharmacology Michael J. Brody Memorial Lecture.
 

The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas. Most lectures, with few exceptions, will be held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year.
