Ben Weidemann awardee of 2014 David S. Bruce Outstanding Undergraduate Award

Benjamin J. Weidemann, an undergraduate student in the Grobe laboratory, has been awarded a 2014 David S. Bruce Undergraduate Award from the American Physiological Society (APS).  Recipients are named based upon their abstract submission to the annual Experimental Biology conference, letters of reference, and the applicant’s record of accomplishments.  This travel award includes a small cash award, two years of complimentary membership in the APS, and makes Mr. Weidemann eligible for an “Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award” onsite research presentation competition at the April 2014 Experimental Biology meeting in San Diego, CA.
