Ko-Ting Lu successfully passed her Master’s examination on Friday, June 27, 2014. Her thesis title was "Identification of Nuclear Receptors that Regulate Renin Gene Expression”.  Members of her thesis committee were, Curt D. Sigmund (Chair), Justin Grobe and Anne Kwitek from the Department of Pharmacology.  Ko-Ting’s research focused on identifying nuclear receptor transcription factors which regulate expression of the renin gene.  She received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Iowa in 2009, and joined the Pharmacology Department in 2010.  She recently accepted a Research Assistant Position in the Sigmund lab.
