At our recent College of Mecinine research week, the Pharmacology department had two poster awad winners.  Our first winner in the CCOM student category, Kyle Flippo, a graduate student in Dr. Stefan Strack’s laboratory, won for his poster “Inhibition of PP2A/Bb2 and Mitochondrial Fission as a Potential Therapy for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy ”.  His co-authors on the poster were Leonid Shutov, Aaron Mickle, Yuriy Usachev and Stefan Strack. 

Our second winner Viviane Muniz, a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Dawn Quelle's laboratory, won on her poster “Role of a Novel Pancreatic Protein, RABL6A in Diabetes" in the FOEDRC staff and postdoctoral fellow category.  Her co-authors on the poster were Jussara Hagen and Dawn Quelle.
