Mohamed Rouabhi and Susan Voong, respectively working in the laboratories of Kamal Rahmouni and Justin L. Grobe in the Department of Pharmacology, have been selected to receive 2014 Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowships (UGSRF) from the American Physiological Society.  Only 24 of these fellowships are awarded annually by the APS.  These fellowships provide stipend support for 10 weeks of work in the mentor’s laboratory over the summer of 2014, a small grant to support the research project, and a $1,300 travel award to attend the Experimental Biology 2015 conference which will take place March 28-April 1, 2015 in Boston, MA.
