Morgan Kemerling and Michael Leaman were selected to receive a 2017-2018 academic year research fellowship from the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU).  Morgan and Michael are mentored by Dr. Kathleen Markan and are focused on understanding beige adipocyte development and the effects of exercise on adipose tissue function and metabolism.
