Research Description:

My research interest is in understanding the mechanisms of synaptic plasticity and memory. My current projects include investigating the role of microRNA-mediated mechanisms and the impact of sleep deprivation on hippocampal synaptic plasticity and memory. I utilize a combination of slice electrophysiology, behavioral tests and molecular biology techniques.
