Research Faculty Advisory Group

The Research Faculty Advisory Group provides constructive input on research issues to CCOM leadership and actively communicates strategic intiatives to the CCOM research workforce. Membership is representative of all faculty ranks, including clinical, translational and basic research, to give a well-rounded view of many important topics and issues. Members provide input on initiatives that guide allocation of research resources, evaluate and advise on investments in shared research facilities, assist with selection of themes and speakers for annual research events, and serve on the annual pilot grant review committee. The group is comprised of 12 faculty, 9 of which are selected from a faculty voting process and 3 appointed by the Dean's Research Team to balance the group or to provide specific expertise. No more than two faculty members can represent a department.
