Points of Distinctiveness

The Athletic training Residency Program is developed around three points of distinctiveness which are related to clinical services, faculty expertise, and academic and research resources within the Orthopedics Department and Sports Medicine Center. The program provides advanced professional preparation by utilizing the learning environment and clinical opportunities offered within a comprehensive academic medical and regional referral center. Interprofessional didactic sessions and scholarship assignments utilize resources available from an Orthopedics Department that is annually one of the top ranked departments in the nation.
