The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology announced on April 7, 2015 that Pharmacology alumnus and renowned clinical genomics expert Dr. Howard Jacob (PhD ’89) was appointed as their Executive Vice President for Medical Genomics and Chief Medical Genomics Officer. Dr. Jacob, who did his thesis work in the laboratory of Dr. Michael J. Brody, joined the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1996, where he was the inaugural Director of their Human and Molecular Genetics Center and the Warren P. Knowles Chair in Genetics.
