Danny W. Linggonegoro, an undergraduate researcher in the laboratory of Justin L. Grobe, PhD, was awarded a “2016 Minority Undergraduate Internship” from the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Danny has worked in the department of Pharmacology for almost two years, having received previous support from the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU) and the American Heart Association. This new award from the ADA, which runs January-December 2016, supports Danny’s ongoing work in the Grobe laboratory investigating neural mechanisms of metabolic and cardiovascular control.
