Rachel Minerath has completed her PhD work in the lab of Dr. Chad Grueter.  Her thesis focused on understanding the role of Mediator kinase activity in regulating pathological cardiac transcriptional remodeling.  Members of her thesis committee were chair, Dr. Chad Grueter from the Department of Internal Medicine, co-chair, Dr. Kamal Rahmouni, and Drs. Justin Grobe and Matt Potthoff from the Department of Pharmacology, and Dr. Barry London from the Department of Internal Medicine.  Rachel will begin a postdoctoral fellowship in the lab of Dr. Jeffery Molkentin, Professor at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in May 2019.
