Research Summary

My laboratory is generally focused on understanding neural control of cardiovascular and metabolic function, with the ultimate goal of understanding and developing novel approaches to treat obesity, hypertension, and the pregnancy-associated cardiovascular disorder, preeclampsia. We employ a wide range of pharmacological and physiological methods, along with new genetically-modified animal models of health and disease.
