Dr. Dawn Quelle, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Pharmacology was selected to receive the 2015 J.P. Long Award for Teaching in the Basic Sciences. The award honors basic science faculty who not only demonstrate unusually significant and meritorious achievement in teaching throughout their career, but also are accomplished scientists and good citizens.

Dr. Larry Gray, postdoctoral fellow in the Taylor Lab, received the first place $750 travel award in the recent Pappajohn Biomedical Institute (PBI) competition for best postdoctoral fellow paper of 2015.
Lucas BonDurant was voted first place in the PBI Student Best Paper Competition and recipient of a $750 travel award.
