Biography

Born Jersey City, NJ. Raised in and attended schools in Linden NJ. Attended Brown University in undergraduate studies, with summer research at Columbia University, graduate school at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and postdoctoral studies at The University of Michigan including three years in the Michigan Society of Fellows.

Synthetic and mechanistic organometallic chemistry, particularly of the early transition metals and early actinides in lower oxidation states and with metal-metal covalent bonds. Metal cluster chemistry of the third-row early transition metals for diagnostic imaging. Polynuclear chemistry of the lanthanides and bismuth for diagnostic imaging.
