Web-based courses are offered by the Radiologic Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography education faculty. They are designed to provide the examination content identified for:

• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Mammography, CVI, CT, and MRI
• The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers for vascular technology, breast sonography, and pediatric sonography.

Auditing Courses

• Faculty and staff may audit a course if permission is granted by the instructor, departmental executive officer (for staff), and college dean (for faculty).
• Tuition is assessed for the number of semester hours registered for. Register for 0 sh by the appropriate academic course deadline.
• Satisfactory performance (minimum 'C' grade and completion of course requirements) is assigned an "AUS" (audit successful) grade on the transcript - courses will not receive credit, meet any college requirement, or be eligible for CE credits with the ARRT.    Unsatisfactory performance is assigned an "AUU" (audit unsuccessful).

Continuing Education Credits

• Radiologic Technologists should consult the ARRT with CE questions prior to taking a course.  Academic courses relevant to the profession taken through a regionally accredited university or college can count for 16 CE credits for each academic semester credit.  (ARRT) https://www.arrt.org/pdfs/governing-documents/continuing-education-requirements.pdf
