Dr. Carol Scott-Conner, Emeritus Professor of Surgery, will be featured in an upcoming virtual Fireside Chat produced by the American College of Surgeons. The Fireside Chat series is designed for current surgeons, resident surgeons and fellows to connect and discuss surgical resident training with experts in the surgical field. The Fireside Chat featuring Dr. Scott-Conner will be held on February 18th, 2021, when she will discuss her long career beginning with the completion of her surgical residency in 1981 through involvement in journal editorial boards, chair of the University of Iowa Department of Surgery, long series of committee involvements, and numerous educational awards.
