Dr. John W. Cromwell has been named Director of Surgical Quality and Safety, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Dr. Cromwell will also continue his roles as Director of the Division of Gastrointestinal, Minimally Invasive, and Bariatric Surgery, and Quality Officer for Surgical Services. As part of this new leadership structure, Dr. Cromwell will be working to improve quality and safety across the surgical sub-specialties and operating rooms at UI Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Cromwell is an excellent addition to the leadership team and a valuable asset in our efforts to improve the care we provide.
