Dr. Marco Ricci joined the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery as Professor and Chief of the Pediatric Cardiac Section as well as the Director of Pediatric ECMO in November, 2017.

Dr Ricci received his MD from the University of Rome and his MBA from the University of Miami School of Business. He completed his general surgery residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY, and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Miami. He has advanced fellowship training in pediatric cardiac surgery from both the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, England, and the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital in Liverpool, England. Dr. Ricci joins us from the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.
