Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner James Kinney, DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC, has been awarded the 2020-2021 University of Iowa College of Nursing Outstanding Young Alumni Award, as announced by the UI College of Nursing on Dec. 2nd, 2020. The annual award, created in 2018, is to recognize the outstanding achievements and many accomplishments made by a recent alumnus of the College of Nursing. Kinney is a 2019 graduate of the College of Nursing's Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and is a member of the Care Team for the Division of Vascular Surgery in the UIHC Department of Surgery. This year the award will be presented to Kinney virtually and publicized at the College of Nursing's virtual commencement ceremony in December.
