Suzy Lin, MD, a critical care fellow in the Department of Surgery, is the winner of the 2019 Meritorious Academic Achievement Award given by the faculty of the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SNICU). The award is given each year to the fellow conducting the top research project of all surgical/anesthesia critical care fellows. The award is based on the presentation of their research projects to the faculty of the SNICU, and was announced on June 4th, 2019 after the votes of the faculty had been counted. Dr. Lin received her award based on her study “Melatonin Effect on Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage”. Dr. Lin is currently completing a one-year Surgical Critical Care Fellowship offered by the Division of Acute Care Surgery.
