Shuttle plasmids are provided free of charge when intended for virus production at the University of Iowa Viral Vector Core. Shuttles with the pFBAAV backbone can be used for either the triple transfection or baculovirus system. Self-complementary plasmids are only for use in the triple transfection system.

Non-University of Iowa investigators: MTA's are required for distribution of plasmids to non-University of Iowa investigators. Non-University of Iowa investigators should order plasmids through the Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) form at the iLabs ordering site. MTAs can take several weeks to months to be approved by all parties and institutions involved.
