Mentorship Program

The UI Carver College of Medicine Mentorship Program is an opportunity for our medical students to interact with alumni physicians, researchers, and health care practitioners across the country—voices of encouragement from those who have taken the path before them.

UI CCOM alumni are invaluable partners in our efforts to connect with our medical students—providing insight and support as they make critical educational and career decisions regarding specialty choice and practice plans.

Whether it's exchanging an e-mail of encouragement or visiting with a student during her/his rotation in their community, the goal of the Mentorship Program is to foster meaningful connections.

We would like to genuinely thank all of our alumni, in advance, for volunteering to help change the lives of our students.

If you are interested in participating in the Mentorship Program, please contact Katie McKibben, MA, Alumni Relations Specialist, at 319-335-8085 or
