This video shows the stimulation of 4 different individual nerve branches found on the normal side of the face. Stimulating like this allows us to determine which nerve will deliver the best smile to the contralateral smile and subsequently guides the decision as to which branch of the facial nerve to cut and sew to the nerve graft.
