Buy an Iowa KidSight children's book.
“So Much More To See” is a 24-page whimsical poem with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations that tells the tale of how a little girl named Phoebe knew the world had plenty to see. It can be purchased through the Iowa KidSight office for $10 a copy, proceeds of which will help support the screening program.
Purchase Seymour the Bear
Seymour the bear can be found throughout Iowa KidSight’s “So Much More to See” educational children’s book. A limited-edition version of Seymour is available through the Iowa KidSight office for $50.
Purchase a MTI PhotoScreener Lamp
These devices utilized instant film to capture vision screening images and were used for vision screening when the Iowa KidSight program first began in 2000.
They are often purchased to recognize Lions Club members are are/were active vision screeners with Iowa KidSight.
