Seymour the bear can be found throughout Iowa KidSight’s “So Much More to See” educational children’s book. The Isabel Bloom company made Seymour into a handcrafted sculpture to benefit the Iowa KidSight vision-screening program in 2013. Seymour was the first sculpture with eye glasses to be publicly introduced into the Isabel Bloom line.
A portion of the sales were donated to Iowa KidSight to help provide vision screenings for young children. A limited-edition version of Seymour is available through the Iowa KidSight office for $50. The limited edition version is numbered, has “Iowa KidSight” written on the bottom, and incorporates purple and gold which represents colors of Iowa Lions Clubs.
