Giving a Boost is a volunteer-driven organization established to support pre-medical students who lack access to mentors in the field of medicine. Our team, composed of current medical students, aims to provide free, personalized mentorship to students from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on disadvantaged applicants such as underrepresented minorities, LGBTQ+, first-generation, low SES, and non-traditional students. By offering guidance on medical school applications at no cost, we strive to alleviate financial burdens and reduce disparities in the application process.
