Leopold Society is an interest group for students considering a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology and those seeking more information about the specialty.
- Monthly meetings are designed to provide information for those planning on entering the specialty and those just looking to learn more.
- Opportunities are also available to participate in the POMS program (Perinatal Opportunity for Medical Students) that matches students with women who are expecting and allows the students to follow the women through their pregnancy and even be present for the delivery.
- Workshops are conducted each year to learn skills such as episiotomy repair.
- Enjoy mixers with staff and residents in the OB/GYN department.
- Take advantage of a network of alumni who are currently practicing in OB/GYN.
- Meet and have fun with others who are considering the specialty from M1’s to M4’s.
