Medical Student Research Day

Medical Student Research Day is an opportunity for the CCOM community to enjoy learning about research projects conducted by medical students in the college. Medical students from all four years of study are eligible to present their research.

Our next Medical Student Research Conference will take place across three days from September 13-15, 2017. Events will begin on Wednesday with concurrent oral presentations in the morning. Poster of student research will be on display throughout the day in MERF Atrium on the 13th and 14th, with half the students presenting their work from noon-1PM each day. Presentations in both oral and poster sessions are judged by two faculty reviewers and eligible for sponsored awards. Recipients will be announced during the Medical Students Award Banquet on Friday evening, September 15th.

Our most recent Research Day was on Friday, September 2, 2016. Posters of many students' research were on display throughout the day in the MERF Atrium; other students presented their research during concurrent oral presentations that morning. Dr. John J. Callaghan, Professor of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation and Biomedical Engineering, was our keynote speaker for the day.
