Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Interest Group

The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Interest Group is comprised of medical students, residents, and fellows with an overall goal to promote interest and activity in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery among students at the Carver College of Medicine. The group activities will consist of hosting interest meetings for students, organizing surgical skills sessions, bolstering and supporting research efforts in the department, group attendance at national meetings to present work, and traveling locally to learn and listen to guest lectures and academics. The group seeks to spark interest into the field of plastic surgery for upcoming students, while also generating interest for a potential fellowship for current residents.
