We strongly believe that the mission of inclusion in academia not only enhances creativity; but also provides broader and more important perspectives from different backgrounds. The Department has been committed to the inclusion of faculty and trainees with barriers to access. Our goal is to cultivate a safe and welcoming learning and growing culture for all personnel.

The  M & I Community Outreach and Enrichment committee meets 4 times during the academic school year.  Anyone working in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology (from undergraduate to faculty level) is welcome to voice concerns or suggestions, attend meetings or join the  committee.
